Agostino Ferrari

Toniolo (born August 2, 1917 in Pieve d i Soligno, died. November 13, 2004), Italian Catholic priest, a h igh official of the Roman Curia. He was ordained a priest on July 6, 1941. In January 1967 he was appointed auxiliary bishop of Pe rugia, Titular Bishop of Taras in Byzacena; bishopric gave him March 18, 1967 the patriarch of Venice, Cardinal Giovanni Urbani. April 23, 1969 was transferred to work in the Roman Curia. Was appointed pro-president of the Pontifical Commission for Social Policy and replace the current work of the Commission President, Archbishop Martin O Connor.
